What games do we play at the Bradford Gamers Society

I would like to discuss which video games are we playing the most at the Bradford Gamers Society. We include various genres at our parties like RTS games, MOBA games, shooter games. It’s important that these games are easy and straightforward to get into without previous knowledge, but also provide a fun experience.

At the Bradford Gamers Society we play the following games specifically:

League of Legends: League of Legends is a MOBA that evolved from the DOTA game mode of Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. It provides a fast-paced gameplay with a lot of character choices. The main issue with it is that it’s not easy to get into it anymore, due to the sheer amount of heroes and abilities. Therefore, we would only play this game if everyone has a previous experience with it.

Starcraft 2: Starcraft 2 is the direct continuation of Starcraft 1 which was a worldwide hit. It is an excellent RTS that is easy to get started at the number of units and abilities are not that many. You can probably read all the tooltips about them in 20 minutes and have a grasp of the entire game in 1 hour. You won’t be a professional by any means but it a fun game, especially in teams to provide a lot of fun!

PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS: PUBG is a typical free-for-all shooter that required no prior knowledge whatsoever to be a fun game. Since there are no teams everyone starts out as equal. The main issue is that 100 people are needed for this game. What we can do is the queue with random people and we as a group could work together to gain an advantage in the carnage!

Conclusion

Whatever we end up playing as the Bradford Gamers Society it is gonna be a lot of fun! If you are not familiar with any of the game it would be a good idea to try them out to gain some experience, especially games like League of Legends. Also, read up on how to use a VPN to avoid some complications.
